December 3, 2011Phew! What a crazy last few months it's been! But I've finally landed back in New Zealand, which is wonderful to be home! I had a great last show in Bend at the Tower Theatre for the maiden bend fest...which was a bit of a tear jerker but really awesome. I feel really lucky to have left the cold snow of Central Oregon and at the beaches in north eastern New Zealand for another summer! I have a few shows coming up that I'm really excited about....once I get settled I hope to get playing and writing a bunch too, so that's fun.

Biography
Erin Cole-Baker is a USA born, Whangarei New Zealand raised singer/songwriter who has been living in Oregon for the last six years playing her music and making albums. Her songs are simple wonders, a blend reminiscent of the indie-folk-pop style of The Weepies and Laura Veirs, a bit of sunshine through the clouds.
Cole-Bakers last album 'Talon and Spur' has been dubbed "one of the most complete folk-oriented offerings to come out of Central Oregon in recent memory" and described as "echoing the indie acoustic vibe that's been blowing up in Portland for the past few years." by The Source Weekly. She kicked off the release of Talon and Spur late 2009 with a tour in France, shows in Oregon, California and New Zealand and has received spins on Radio New Zealand and in Oregon.
Her latest album 'Big Sky' was released in June 2011 features some of Erin's favorite players and friends, and a collection of 11 strong songs.
